An amazing, engaging and once in a lifetime opportunity!

Each day the presenter (lead pioneer) will complete a S.T.E.A.M. related project with the participants (pioneers) via Zoom. The pioneers will additionally learn about a notable S.T.E.A.M. figure who is making or has made major strides in their career/industry. It is our ultimate goal to expose the pioneers to an array of life options while encouraging them that the sky's the limit. Nothing is impossible because great things have been accomplished!

What is S.T.E.A.M.?

S.T.E.A.M. stands for 'Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math.' It’s an approach to teaching and learning in which STEM education principles are taught through the arts. It is the intentional weaving of academic study with arts disciplines such as visual art, dance, music, and theater," says national arts integration leader Susan Riley of EducationCloset.com.

Day 4: Arts (Amanda Gorman)

Week 2

Day 5: Recap of Week 1/Math (Shirley Ann Jackson)

Day 6: Technology (Aprille Ericcson- Jackson)

Day 7: Science (Angela Benton)

Day 8:Arts (Marie M. Daly)

All major camp materials will be included in the camp box which will be mailed to each pioneer's home address. Each pioneer access to a GMAIL account for the app creation activity.
